wXw Germany has just announced that a singles match will take place between Emil Sitoci (NL) and NOAH Global Honor Crown Jr. Heavyweight Champion Yoshinobu Kanemaru (JP). Both men have clashed in the ring before in Germany in 2006. Sitoci was wXx Light-Heavyweight Champion at the time, and he succesfully defended his title by pinning Kanemaru to the mat after the Snapmare Driver. This time around it will be Kanemaru who will be the defending champion.
Not only does Emil hold singles victories over Japanese wrestlers such as Taiji Ishimori and CIMA, but he also managed to score the win against NOAH regular Bobby Fish. Given the fact that Emil also holds a victory over Kanemaru himself, Pro Wrestling NOAH decided that Emil had earned himself the right to be the No.1 contender for the GHC Jr. Heabyweight Championship.
SITOCI vs. KANEMARU, Part II is scheduled to take placeĀ at wXw “Fans Appreciation Night 2010″, on July 30th in Oberhausen, Germany. For tickets and more information please visit the wXw official website here.
